Hello! My name is Jamie Vanecko and this is my eleventh year teaching diverse learners at Sauganash School. I received a duel certificate in Elementary Education and Special Education as well as my Masters degree from National Louis University. Many years ago, I taught second and third grade in the WiImette Public Schools.
Last year I received my ESL endorsement through the University of Chicago and truly enjoy teaching our diverse students here at Sauganash School. I was born and raised in Chicago so am very proud of our beautiful city. I live in the Sauganash neighborhood and am so grateful for this wonderful community in which to live and teach! When I’m not teaching I love spending time with my five kids and family. We love going to the beach and spending time downtown at museums, plays, going to movies or going out to eat! When I am not with my family or friends I love to run, do yoga or read. It’s always a great day to be a Chief! :)
