Sauganash HS Information Session
Dear Sauganash Families,
There is less than one month to submit your GoCPS applications!
The GoCPS application is now open through Friday, November 14, 2025 at 5PM. To apply, go to apply.cps.edu.
Families can rank up to 20 Choice Programs and up to 6 Selective Enrollment programs in their application portal. We recommend all students submit applications for both choice programs and selective enrollment. Please submit your “Guaranteed Offer” application, it is only a few clicks to complete. If your student attends their neighborhood school, enrollment is much easier if this application has been completed.
We had the wonderful opportunity of representatives from Taft High School and Von Steuben visiting our 8th graders these last couple of weeks. We are passing along helpful information and materials provided to your students. If you have any questions about these two schools or any other CPS high schools, please feel free to reach out to Ms. Portelli or Ms. Styzek.
While Ms. Styzek is on maternity leave beginning at the end of October, please email all your questions to Ms. Portelli at [email protected]. She will be assisting with the completion of all 8th grade applications prior to the November 14 deadline.
