Mrs. Katie Styzek
My name is Katie Styzek, and I am excited to be joining the Sauganash Team! This will be my 15th year in education. I previously taught middle school, and served as a school counselor in the Albany Park Neighborhood.
I received my BS in Elementary Education from University of Illinois prior to getting my Master’s Degree in School Counseling from DePaul University. I received my National Board Certification in 2019.
I enjoy being outside, and spending time with my family and friends. When I am not at school, you can find me running in Caldwell Woods and visiting new parks with my two young daughters.
I am looking forward to a wonderful school year with the Sauganash Families!
