My name is Vickie Pecoraro, I am the school clerk here at Sauganash. I started working at Sauganash in 2002 as a PTA aide working with the 8th and 4th graders. My second year was with 5th grade and in 2004 Mrs. Munns asked me to become the school clerk and I was thrilled to accept.
I have lived in Chicago on the northwest side growing up and chose to stay there to raise my son who is now 27 years old. I am of Italian descent and am proud to have dual citizenship to Italy. Cooking is a passion that I learned from my grandmother and mother growing up with homemade pasta and other delicious italian dishes and traditions. I am blessed with a wonderful family and equally special friends that I enjoy spending time with.
