Mr. Sam Chepulis
Hello! My name is Sam Chepulis and I am excited to be joining Sauganash as the 7th and 8th-grade science teacher. I am a recent graduate of Loyola University of Chicago where I studied Science and Education. My focus was on environmental sustainability research.
Before arriving at Sauganash, I grew up on a small farm in rural Texas with lots of land to roam (so be ready to hear a "howdy" or "y'all"). Having wide open space to explore meant that from an early age, I fell in love with discovery.
When I'm not in the classroom, you are likely to find me on the court. Generally, this means basketball, volleyball, or tennis but if a scoreboard is involved, I'm likely to be involved. Additionally, I love to travel and I often take the summers as an opportunity to see the world which has included rock climbing in Germany, encircling the USA via train car, or experiencing the g-forces of the latest roller coaster. I can't wait to meet everyone this upcoming school year.
