Mrs. Meggie Anders
My name is Meggie Anders and I am thrilled to be joining Sauganash School! This will be my 17th year teaching. I previously taught 2nd grade at the School of St. Mary for three years and was a 1st grade teacher at Alexander Graham Bell School for the past thirteen years.
I always knew I wanted to be a teacher, so I have taken a lot of fun, challenging, and relevant coursework to prepare me for such an important role. I received my BA in Elementary Education from Saint Mary’s College before getting my Master’s Degree from DePaul University. I am a certified Reading Specialist and have an endorsement to teach English Language Learners. I love watching my students learn and grow into educated, capable, and caring individuals.
I love live music and spending time with friends and family. When I am not in the classroom you can find me chasing around my two toddlers or crafting with my embroidery and monogram machines. I am looking forward to meeting all of you
