I am beyond excited to be joining the Sauganash community this year! This will be my first year teaching as a Spanish teacher, and I look forward to seeing what this year has to offer. I decided to become a Spanish teacher because of the support and dedication other educators, counselors, and role models had on my life. Now, it’s my turn to spread the support and dedication. This past June of 2021, I graduated from Northern Illinois University in Dekalb, Illinois where I majored in Spanish and Hispanic Studies. In my free time, I love going out and trying new foods around the city, being active, reading, traveling, spending time with my family and my Rottweiler! I am here to dedicate, support, challenge, and provide the best outcomes for our students at Sauganash. Saludos! -Mr. Lopez ​
